As of 11/1/09 I am offering two levels of custom frames:

Premiere Frames

These are no holds barred whatever you can dream of works of functional, rolling art. Available with either the classic brazed fork or top of the line carbon fork.

  • Road Frame and Fork – $2950
  • Touring Frame and Fork – $3100
  • Cyclocross Frame and Fork – $3000
  • Track Frame and Fork – $2750

Tig Comp FramesKBC Comp Tig rear drops

Fully custom race oriented frames built with the lightest tubing and Tig welded construction. These frames are offered with carbon forks only.

  • Custom Road w/Carbon fork – $1995.00
  • Custom Cyclocross w/ Carbon fork $2095.00

All prices quoted include a single-color paint job with full K. Bedford Customs decal set. Multi color paint schemes are an additional $200 minimum.
I can also contract with either Joe Bell or Keith Anderson to apply one of their exquisite paint jobs to your new frameset if you’d like. Please note: this will require that the base price of the frame is paid for in full prior to shipping to Joe or Keith with any paint up-charge balance due when the frame is ready to ship to you. Prices do not include shipping.

Notes on Custom Frames
  • Frames with sloping top tubes will generally require fillet brazed construction, which is more time-intensive – add $250 for any frame requiring fillet brazing.
  • Pump pegs and chain hangers can be added at no extra charge. All other braze-ons are $25 per piece except for models where already included.
  • Cyclocross bikes include cantilever bosses front and rear, rear brake cable hanger, downtube shift cable routing and top tube brake cable routing.
  • Touring bikes include the same options as ‘cross bikes but with rack and fender mounts.
  • Other options: I’m happy to discuss any of your ideas that will make your K. Bedford Customs frame completely and uniquely yours. My goal is to build the frame that satisfies your greatest expectations of form and function.
Complete Bikes

I would be happy to provide you with a complete or partial build kit to compliment your new frameset. With access to more than 60 manufacturers, I can arrange for just about any type of build. See our Kit Builder Page for details and pricing.

Ordering (The Process)

After our initial discussion about your bike I require a non-refundable $750 deposit to secure your spot in the build schedule. When it comes time to begin work on your frame, I will contact you for an in-depth discussion to finalize all the details for your new frame including fit, finish, ride characteristics, build kit, etc. At this time another $250 will be required before I begin work on the frame.
When the frame is completed and is ready to ship I will contact you for the balance due. On receipt of your check or money order your new K. Bedford will be on the way to you.
At this time I will only be accepting check and money order.
